VP Taylor Admonishes Children to seek better Liberia

Vice president of Liberia Dr. Chief Howard-Taylor has admonished young Liberia children to remain steadfast in maintaining the common heritage of the state adding that the children of Liberia must exhort all positive attributes for a better tomorrow.
She said is now time for children of Liberia to retrospect on the historical analysis taken into consideration the position of Liberia on the African continent especially a country which has celebrated its 171 years of independence and yet development remain one of those major challenges as such the feature depends on the young people to be the actors of today in order to take over the country with great proud and dignity.
VP-Taylor wants children of Liberia to do away with substance abuse, rape and all forms of violence and follow the right trajectory by meaningfully utilizing the opportunity of access to quality education noting that Liberia can only be better if the young people are prepared to take over the country as future leaders.
The VP made the statement on Saturday April 13, 2019 at the fifth anniversary celebration of the Children dialogue forum which brought together more than two hundred young children from different institutions in Congo Town Monrovia, Liberia.
Madam Howard Taylor said, since the official launched of the 16 days of activism campaign by the ministry of gender, her office has been actively involved with mass mobilization of all communities to promote collective responsibility in the fight to eradicate violence against women and children in all parts of the country.
VP-Taylor said as part of her service to the country; many young people are currently benefiting from her scholarship to pursue their education especially the girls’ children who are the face of the country as she promise to lobby in establishing a digital library system similar to what she saw in Ghana upon her visitation.
