Pres. Boakai Highly Commended -For Securing Seven Developmental Pacts from Seoul, Korea

MONROVIA – Liberia’s President Ambassador Joseph Nyumah Boakai has and continues to be commended by many individuals, organizations, Civil Society groups and even business oriented institutions for having secured seven developmental deals with the Korean government, which are expected to positively boost the energy and other sectors including agricultural, safe drinking water, sanitation, roads network, educational empowerment of young people, technical vocational education or Tvet and will assist Liberia in strengthening the economy.

Latest of these commendations came from a non-political but business enterprise styled and known popularly as the Bukonjadeh Group through its chief, Mr. Elton Datee Johns, who continuously called upon all Liberians to bury whatever differences they may have against each other from the 2023 elections and overwhelmingly embrace all concerted efforts by the government towards peace, stability and national development for the total betterment of the Liberian people and the country.

For decades, he said, this nation and its citizens have been going through turbulent times to build their lives, but the fifteen years of civil war has negatively worsened the lives of the already impoverished citizens.

Mr. Johns said Liberia will triumph over evils to build our nation. He urged the media to promote objectivism and professionalism by focusing on what is good for Liberia.

Mr. Johns emphasized that the Media have a very pivotal role to play to positively write the right things that will change the trajectory positively, noting that the pen is mightiest than the sword.
