MONROVIA: Residents of District #5, Montserrado County have spoken volumes of their Representative-elect, Madam Priscilla Cooper as an icon among the newly elected Representatives whilst they vow to remain supportive to not only her commitment to bring about massive development Initiatives in the District, but to ensure she becomes the next deputy speaker of the House of Representatives.
During an assessment tour of the District recently, some of its residents revealed to reporters that Madam Cooper has planned not only to ensure that her District is taken to another level of development, but to also work hard along with her colleagues to move Liberia on a productive trajectory bringing about sustainable economic growth and development.
Boimah Gibson, a resident of District #5, informed reporters that prior to Madam Cooper’s election, she remained firmed and unwavering to work with the District’s residents in initiating various development plans that positively affect the society at large.
“She has exemplified a good leadership ability over the years, showing that she can move the District forward and at the sometime contribute to national growth,” Gibson indicated.
Siafa Lansana, also a resident of District #5, narrated to reporters that Madam Cooper’s development contribution to the District has been immense, making it possible for the District’s residents to unify as a people and prepared to implement a change in the nation, something he added the District stands to largely benefit from.
“We are prepared to remain firmed and supportive to Madam Cooper becoming the deputy speaker of the House of Representatives,” Lansana added.
Political pundits are beginning to suggest that given Madam Cooper’s track records that she built over the years, she is an obvious icon of leadership and development, as she remains innovative in many ways, which she said makes her suited for the post of deputy speaker of the House of Representatives.
“It will be the best decision to support madam Cooper becomes the next deputy speaker of that august body,” a political analyst preferring anonymity pointed out.
