“Out of respect for Liberia’s traditional friend and greatest ally, the United States of America, we as Council of patriots, we have decided to postpone our planned protest slated for July 24th 2019. The protest will take place nationwide from Wednesday 31st of July 2019 until our demands are met”, COP Chairman Henry Costa made the pronouncement today, Friday, July 19, 2019 during COP’s press conference.
