Montserrado County District # 15 Representative Candidate, Ms. Telia Urey, says she will give one-third of her salary for the upliftment and development of the district when she is elected by the popular mandate of the people.
Speaking over the weekend to mammoth crowd of her supporters at the launch of her campaign at the Lajou Football Pitch in Caldwell, Ms. Urey explained that she will use a third of her monthly salary to help construct or upgrade community roads, support the health care delivery system, create job opportunities for the people, empowered the young people and provide scholarships for students.
Telia, as the candidate of the four opposition political parties is usually referred to, said Liberians must learn to elect people to power based on their characters and desires to do the right things for the country and its people.
According to her, the living condition of every Liberian will improve when the country gets better, stating, “Liberia is the only country we have, we cannot stop voting until we get the right people to leadership to develop the country.”
She told the people of District #15 that their votes is the most powerful weapons they possess to transform their lives, pleading with them to see her as “your daughter or your sister” who can help to transform “your lives and bring about good develop to the District, and the entire Montserrado County.”
The Montserrado County District #15 candidate urged all of the people of the district to turn out in their numbers on Election Day to vote for her on July 8, 2019.
