The Representative for District # 2 in River Gee County, Francis S. Younge has commended President Weah for recognizing the plight of the River Gee citizens by swiftly acting on key roads leading to the county ahead of the rainy season. He said that the citizens are overwhelmed with the level of efforts applied by the Weah led government to bring relief to the people of the county.
Representative Younge has assured the citizens of River Gee County that President Weah’s leadership is committed to change the lives of the Liberian people under the Pro-poor Development Agenda that was launched in 2018.
According to Rep. Younge, one of the major priorities of the CDC government is roads connectivity and amongst other paining national issues that hinder the lives of the common people, and not personal gains.
The River Gee District # 2 Representative, also said despite of the economic difficulties faced by the CDC government, it remains committed to tackle the Pleebo-Fish Town Road and the Fish Town-Juwelpo Road including all other road projects connecting surrounding towns and villages in the county.
He stressed on maintaining collaboration with his colleagues at the Executive Branch of government to ensure that River Gee County is redeemed from its present state of devastation and pledged his commitment to invest in the young people of the county; by creating more vocational training institutions for the young people to learn various skills.
The District # 2 lawmaker urged his kinsmen to always be prayerful and patient for the greater good of the country. He made the disclosure over the weekend at his resident in Larkpazee, Sinkor, when the citizens of River Gee County including some elders and women group paid him a courtesy call following his recovery from illness.
For His part, the Potupo Development Association President, David Pah expressed their happiness and appreciation first to God for the safe recovery of Rep. Younge.
Mr. Pah said, “as long as we continued to enjoy the working relationship with your office Honorable Younge, we will always continue to pray for you, and the government; so that it can achieve its agenda.
