The National Elections Commissions will today certificate Senator Elect Abraham Darius Dillon at 11: AM at the James Fromoyan Conference Hall at NEC’s Headquarters.
Mr. Dillon asserted that thereafter his certification; he will be inducted early next week as Senator of Montserrado County in the Chambers of the Senate after which he will commence work for the country and the people.
A post by Dillon inviting family, partisans, supporters, friends, the media and the general public, however committed the Senator to remain seized of the matter of Ms. Telia Urey regarding the District #15 Representative Seat.
Dillon and Urey ran on the respective Senatorial and Representative tickets of the Four Collaborating Opposition Parties, but Telia Urey who is leading the ruling CDC’s Abu Kamara complained to the National Elections Commission of elections malpractices, which complaint is presently being investigated. No final result is yet to be announced in the face of the investigation.
But Senator –elect Dillon said, “We shall not rest, contend, until Telia and the people of District 15 are served true justice in keeping with their actual votes cast on July 29, 2019,”
Meanwhile, CDC Candidate Abu Kamara is schedule to produce his witnesses today at the NEC Headquarters.
Kamara’s team of lawyers including Attorney Kuakeayou Wleh, Cllr. Johnathan T. Massaquoi, Atty. Paul Tarpeh Dixon and Atty. Pape Suah said their client will his witnesses to exonerate him from allegation of election malpractices
