MONROVIA – As the clamor for robust representation in the ensuing 2023 general election engulfs the country, the people of Grand Bassa County’s District #3 will be endorsing the representative bid of Cllr. Charlyne M. Brumskine, daughter of the founder and vision bearer of the opposition Liberty Party (LP), the late Cllr. Charles Walker Brumskine, in a program which is expected to be an elaborate affair slated for December 11, 2022 in Buchanan City, Grand Bassa County.
The information about Charlyne’s endorsement was contained in a widely distributed flyer bearing the photo of the young lawyer, with that of her late father positioned at the background. The astute young lawyer recently made public her letter of intent to the Liberty Party about her desire to contest the District #3 seat, following which she drummed up massive support from the Bassa people and solicited their presence on several occasions.
“In a quest to support her bid, for this representative seat in district #3, Grand Bassa County, the great people of the county invite you to the endorsement ceremony of their daughter, sister and friend Charlyne M. Brumskine on Sunday, December 11, 2022, Pavilion Fair Ground, Grand Bassa County. Time: 1 PM,” the organizers announced on the flyers.
Since her declaration of intent, Charlyne has been receiving a lot of goodwill support from cross-section of the populace in Grand Bassa county, and is said to be picking up some of the pieces where her father left in the polity. She has been frequenting the county, especially District #3 in recent times where information has not confirmed if she will have any competition picking the ticket ahead of any other aspirant within the Liberty Party.
As the electioneering process is fast picking up in the county, no doubt Charlyne will be a factor in the race, and for any opponent coming in the race, they should be ready to face a herculean task ahead.
