MONROVIA: The former Vice President, Dr. Jewel Howard Taylor was invited on March 14 thru the 16 this year and participated in a distinguished a meeting of World leaders, the 11th BAKU WORLD FORUM, in Baku, in Baku Ajabajain in Nigeria where she reminded the world leaders that Africa is the future.
As a participant of the session on the Future of Africa, Dr. Taylor spoke of the challenges Africa has faced for many years; and mentioned, however, that the African Continental Free Trade Agreement now provides Africa a new opportunity to industrialize, develop and propel trade amongst Countries on the Continent.
The former Liberian Vice President reiterated that Indeed Africa is the future. The Liberia dignitary indicated that Africans are the future, noting that as by 2050 constitute the largest population in the World, the largest youth population and the last remaining reserves will be in Africa.
The former Vice President averred that African Leaders must step up to the plate and create the Africa of our dreams as the opportunities are now within our reach.
In closing she paid homage to Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Former President Joyce Banda for their tenacity and belief that AFRICA has what it takes to become the continent of the future; but added that stellar leadership is now needed.
