The former Chairman of the Liberia Peace Council (LPC) and now Representative of Grand Gedeh County, George S. Boley has welcomed the submission of a proposal to the National Legislature by President George M. Weah for the establishment of a War and Economic Crimes Court in the country.
In an interview with legislative reporters at the Capitol Building on Friday, September 13, 2019 following President Weah’s submission of the proposal to the House of Representatives for the establishment of War and Economic Crimes Court in Liberia, Representative Boley told the reporters that he welcomed the president’s decision and that it is the best time for such decision to be taken.
According to him, he has never rejected the calls for War Crimes Court establishment and is never jittered as claimed by many who feels he is always embarrassed whenever he is confronted by such topic.
“The sooner, the better for Liberia. I’m never emotional about this. Let the law take its course,” Hon. Boley said.
