The Analyst Regrets Bility Anti-Boakai Endorsement Publication -As CPP National Chairman Abhors 2023 Presidential Results
MONROVIA: The Management of the Analyst Newspaper seizes the opportunity to sincerely apologize to the National Chairman of the Collaborating Political Parties (CPP), Nimba County District #7 Representative-elect Musa Hassan Bility, for the inadvertent publication of an October 24, 2023 story captioned: “I will not approve JNB’s Endorsement”.
“We sincerely apologize for transcribing and publishing a misplaced September 2023 podcast which was inadvertently used instead of the podcast that dealt with Mr. Bility’s position on the just-ended presidential elections and the somewhat dismal performance of the CPP, instead of the September 2023 podcast that does not portray the current trend of negotiations amongst members of the opposition community” The Analyst stated.
The actual podcast which was misplaced and replaced by the September 2023 Bility podcast focused on the CPP National Chairman’s frustration on what he termed as a “miracle” regarding the poor showing the CPP in the just-ended presidential elections in which bookmakers had heavily favored Mr. Alexander Cummings as one of the top three contenders for the presidency.
“What a miracle. We are appalled. We are in pain. We are in agony. It is clear that our vote for the Standard Bearer and the Vice Standard Bearer are missing. Something is not right. If you don’t agree with us today, don’t be surprised if you meet the same thing tomorrow,” Mr. Bility had stated ominously in his most recent podcast.
According to the newly elected member of the House of Representatives, while the CPP bemoans the circumstances of its poor showing the 2023 presidential elections, it is important to note how Standard Bearer Alexander Cummings continues to call on its partisans and Liberians in general to remain peaceful.
“We will respect the law because the crime that has been committed against our Vice President and our Presidential Candidate remain unknown to us. But we take it as a challenge; and we will find out, whether it is today, tomorrow, or whether it is years from now.
“We will follow our political leader, our standard-bearer to be calm and call on our supporters to be law-abiding. Like he said, at this very point, we don’t know what happened. And because we don’t know what happened, we have not determined what course of action to take. But what has been determined as pronounced by the Standard Bearer is that we will remain peaceful. We will be absolutely nonviolent, and we will follow him to the end of this political journey.
“As the CPP, we will look up to our Standard Bearer and the Vice Standard Bearer for direction,” Mr. Bility averred.
Frowning on the presidential results
Meanwhile, the National Chairman of the opposition Collaborating Political Parties (CPP), Nimba County District #7 Representative-elect Musa Hassan Bility, says only it is not possible that his party’s Standard Bearer Alexander Cummings could obtain over 110,000 votes in 2017 and having done three times more than he did under the current circumstances, was not able to obtain even half of that vote in the just-ended October 10, 2023 presidential elections.
Bility stated ominously in a recent podcast.

Bility’s assertion no doubt has left many political pundits baffled about the CPP dismal performance in the October polls, wherein an unknown candidate would garner higher number of votes in places that Cummings and his CPP had canvassed.
Already, the dark horse of the October polls, Edward Appleton of the GDM party, has seemingly overshadowed the kingmaker role once held by Mr. Cummings whose party could only obtain 1% of the votes in the just-ended presidential election.
