MONROVIA: The Press Union of Liberia (PUL) expresses deep sorrow over the loss of its esteemed member, Ziamah Zeigler and will on Friday, May 24, 2024 open a book of condolence.
The book of condolence of journalist Zeigler will be opened at the Headquarters of the Union on Friday, May 24, 2024 by 11:30 am.
Journalist Ziamah Zeigler, a dedicated journalist departed this world on Monday, May 13, 2024 at morning hours in the Jaimaica Road Community after a brief period of illness. Zeigler will highly be missed by his colleagues for his jovial and professional attitude that he always exhibited even at duty while he was alive
Prior to his death, the late journalist Zeigler worked at King’s FM and contributed immensely to other newspapers; he lastly joined the New Liberia Newspaper at the Ministry of Information Culture Affairs and Tourism where he worked until his passing. His death has left a huge vault in the journalism profession that will go a long way.
The PUL extends its heartfelt condolences to the family, colleagues, friends, and well-wishers who share in the grief caused by his untimely demise. We urge everyone to find strength in unity as we navigate this period of mourning together.
Meanwhile, the book of condolence will be opened for signing starting at 11:30 am at the Press Union of Liberia headquarters. The Union requests the presence of all its members, media professionals and the general Public to attend and pay their final respects to fallen journalist, Zeigler.
