MONROVIA – The International Bishop of the New Grace Church, Dr. Theo Bessman, has implored Liberians to continue to press forward for what he calls “the high calling of our Lord Jesus Christ’ despite the difficulties faced in the country.
The bishop made the remarks over the weekend when he served as the closing speaker of the 2nd Annual Conference of the New Grace Church in Liberia.
The Conference was held with its newly established District Headquarters at the Nimba Junction Community, Rivercess County.
The conference brought together over 200 delegates under the newly built edifice of the church.
Meanwhile, the resident Bishop of the church, Bishop Peter B. Gboeh, says the New Grace Church in Liberia is experiencing lot of developments from its USA partner.
Bishop Gbeoh praised the international contributions, and called on the New Grace Church in Liberia to show appreciation to Rev. Theo Bessman and his wife, Felecia Bessman including the entire church in the USA for their continuous support, especially for the mobile clinic that is introduced in Liberia.
The New Grace Mobile Clinic catered to more than one hundred persons at the Nimba Junction conference and others who are non-members of the church.
The Second Annual Conference was a center of worship competition from the three groups of choirs, voice of grace, English choir, and the mother choir. The Conference was also graced by senatorial aspirant Andrew Peters and representative aspirant, Joseph Gboeh.
