MONROVIA – The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has a new minister. She is Magdalene Dagoseh, wife of fallen Liberian financial expert and Grand Cape Mounty County Former Senator, Edward B. Dagoseh.
Madam Dagoseh, a staunched member of the governing Unity Party was appointed by President Joseph Nyuma Boakai Monday, November 4, 2024.
Prior to Madam Dagoseh’s nomination, she served as Assistant Minister for Administration at the Ministry of Gender Children and Social Protection (MoGCSP) during the administration of former President Ellen Johnson- Sirleaf.
The appointment by the Liberian Chief Executive is subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate.
If confirmed, she will succeed Madam Scholastica Tanneh Nyenkan-Nimley who was named by President Joseph Nyuma Boakai to act as Minister following the resignation of then Commerce and Industry Minister Amin Modad on October 9, 2024.
