Any operator caught in violation of these rules, will be issued $25.00USD ticket for traffic violation for the first time, $50.00USD for second violation while third violation will lead to Motorcycle or Tricycle, impounded and subsequent auction through the Court. All operators are asked to act in accordance with the Vehicle and Traffic laws of the Republic of Liberia. Tricycles and Commercial Motorcycles are to ply the Go Zones beginning 6: am to 10: PM daily.

The authority of the Liberia National Police has expressed dismay over the constant habit by personnel of various motorcyclists’ unions/private security wearing Police regalia while carrying on their duties, which makes it difficult for the public to distinguish the Police from private/Union security personnel.

Meanwhile, the wearing of Police Uniform (Police regalia) is straightly prohibited, anyone caught wearing Police outfit will be disrobed.
