Lewis Brown Addresses The Nation Today

MONROVIA – The former Chief Negotiator of the Liberian Government of the Accra Comprehensive Peace  Accord and former Permanent Representative of Liberia to the United Nations, Ambassador Lewis Garseedah Brown, II, will today address the Nation. One of Liberia’s respected statesmen is expected to speak on the critical importance of the 2023 elections. It is also speculated that he will endorse a Presidential Aspirant.

The broadcast is expected to begin at 4pm, on Truth FM, and simulcast on multiple media platforms and community radio stations.

Liberians will go to the polls in October of 2023 to elect all the members of the House of Representatives, fifteen Senators, and the President and Vice President. The Liberian presidential term is six years.

The three leading presidential aspirants include Incumbent President George M. Weah of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), Former Vice President Joseph N. Boakai of the Unity Party (UP), and Alexander Benedict Cummings of the Collaborating Political Parties (CPP).

Amb. Brown is a member of the National Patriotic Party (NPP), which is a member-party of the ruling Coalition of President Weah.
