Gongloe Receives LNBA’s ‘Senior Counsellor’ Award -Says It’s Testament to Enduring Principle, Steadfast Service
MONROVIA – Liberian lawyer, politician and human rights crusader, Tiawan Saye Gongloe, is the latest recipient of the prestigious “Senior Counselor” award of the Liberia National Bar Association.
In continuation of its annual congress this year, the LNBA has been recognizing its members, principally veterans, who have left indelibly laudable marks on the image of the organization.
Inscriptions on the certificate indicated: “Certificate of Honor. This certifies that Cllr. Tiawan Saye Gongloe, Managing Partner of Gongloe and Associates Law Office, formerly National President of the Liberia National Bar Association, with the distinction of Senior Counsellor for the immeasurable contribution to the advancement of Liberian jurisprudence.”
Announcing his honor, Gongloe said in a short statement that it was with profound humility and gratitude that he acknowledged this Certificate of Honor bestowed upon him by the leadership of the Liberian National Bar Association (LNBA).
“To be recognized as Senior Counsellor for my contributions to the advancement of Liberian jurisprudence is not merely an honor; it is a solemn affirmation of the responsibility we all bear as legal practitioners to uphold justice, integrity, and the rule of law,” he said.
He thanked Cllr. Sylvester D. Rennie, the National President, and the entire leadership of the LNBA for the distinction.
According to him, the recognition stands as a testament to the enduring principle that through steadfast service, relentless advocacy, and unwavering dedication to the law, we can shape a better Liberia—one defined by justice, accountability, and the supremacy of law over politics.
