MONROVIA – Scores of Liberians, mostly Christians on Thursday evening, July 21, 2022 gathered at the Roberts International Airport in Margibi County to receive and welcome a high-profile Nigerian Prelate, Apostle Dr. Chibuzor Chinyere to Liberia as guest of the Vice President of Liberia, Chief Dr. Jewel Howard Taylor.
Apostle Dr. Chibuzor Chinyere is the founder of the Omega Power Ministries (OPM) and a humanitarian.
The multitude of Liberians who were mainly members of the Restoration Baptist Church headed by Bishop Gardea Johnson, where the Vice President worships, were seen assembled at the Roberts International Airport with inscriptions written on banners, some of whom read, “Welcome to Liberia Apostle Chinyere”.
Speaking to journalists following his arrival at the RIA, Apostle Dr. Chinyere who is the founder of Omega Power Ministries (OPM) said he was impressed by the invitation to visit Liberia and level of reception accorded him by the Vice President and the many others that turned out at the Airport.
The renowned Servant of God who leads a very large congregation in Nigeria told Reporters that his visit in the Country is intended to honor an invitation extended to him by Vice President, Jewel Howard Taylor to celebrate Liberia’s 175th Independence.
He described President George Manneh Weah and Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor as symbols of peace and blessings to Liberia and its people.
He said elections of the Liberia Chief Executive and his Vice President in 2017 has brought a new beginning of development and national transformation in the public and private sectors.
Also speaking to journalists at the RIA in Margibi County Thursday, the Overseer of the Restoration Baptist Church, Bishop Gardea Johnson noted that the visit of Apostle Chinyere to the Country is a blessing to every Liberian.
Bishop Gardea Johnson indicated that Apostle Chinyere while in Liberia will impact the religious community and its leaders including his Restoration Baptist Church congregation.
Apostle Dr. Chinyere was accompanied to the country by a delegation made up of his family including his wife and kid.
