Abraham Williams Wins UNIBOA 2nd Term

MONROVIA: The apex diaspora organization of citizens who hail from the Bassa land in Liberia, the United Bassa Organization in the Americas(UNIBOA) has concluded its general elections with the election of Abraham Williams winning the second term to serve another 3 year tenure as President of the institution.

According to a dispatch from the United States, Williams’ re-election was predicted upon the tangible development executed by his Leadership both at home and abroad among which are pioneering the registration of UNIBOA as a local NGO operating at home as well as opening a local bank account for the organization in Liberia for individuals and partners to do business with UNIBOA.

Information available to The Analyst said Williams had earlier provided job employment and training service (JETS) for members of UNIBOA at home and abroad as well as being the first to initiate a prudent management of the financials of the organization with the introduction of the QuickBooks Software in order to provide financial reporting on time.

Before the termination of his first tenure, he instituted other impactful development projects such as the provision of financial assistance for support to the health sector in 42 villages in Rivercess County directed to pregnant women, particularly due to the isolation to areas there in rural Liberia.

His re-election has been hailed by citizens of the Bassaland both at home and abroad attributing the feat to the tangible development initiatives by his administration which saw the compelling need for him to be re-elected.

Those who got re-elected along with Abraham Williams are Joseph Reeves, Vice President, J. Cephas Davis, Secretary, Daniel Moore, Treasurer, and Madam Nukey Richards, Financial Secretary.
