Panic, Outrage over Eric Duaryenneh’s Mysterious Death -TUDA Seeks Expeditious Justice for ‘Slain’ Member

MONROVIA – The mysterious death of Liberian medical practitioner Eric Duaryenneh has sparked widespread outrage and calls for justice by multiple sources, including the Tarjuowon United Development Association (TUDA) is making a strong case against those suspected in the fatal incident.

According to reports, Duaryenneh’s body was allegedly found at a local motel, which surrendered his lifeless body to the police without notifying his family. The Liberian National Police’s handling of the situation has raised eyebrows, with allegations of a lack of due diligence in their investigation.

Also a Liberian cleric, Janson Wallace, is suspected of involvement in Duaryenneh’s disappearance and death, having allegedly lured him out of his home on the date of his death.

The Tarjuowon United Development Association (TUDA), a global organization led by the Tarjuowon people, of which Duaryenneh was an official, is now pushing for justice and accountability.

In a release signed by its Global Chairman, Mr. Sampson Ward Toby, TUDA is calling for a thorough investigation into Duaryenneh’s death and for those responsible to be held accountable.

The organization is demanding a transparent and unbiased investigation into the circumstances surrounding Duaryenneh’s death.

As the investigation unfolds, the community is holding its breath, hoping for answers and justice for Duaryenneh and his family.

The case has sparked a wave of outrage on social media, with many Liberians and international observers calling for swift action to bring the perpetrators to justice.

The Tarjuowon United Development Association (TUDA) is demanding a swift and impartial investigation into the mysterious circumstances surrounding the death of its member, Mr. Eric Duaryenneh, a prominent citizen of Tarjuowon.

“We call on the government to designate the officers of Liberia National Police (LNP) and Pastor Janson Wallace as persons of interest in the investigation, given their roles in the events leading to Mr. Duaryenneh’s demise,” the group, with origin in Tarjuowon Statutory District, Sinoe County, said in a release.

TUDA asserts that the LNP officers’ actions in retrieving Mr. Duaryenneh’s lifeless body from a local motel without notifying the family raise serious concerns and require scrutiny.

“It’s suspicious that Pastor Janson Willie, who called Mr. Duaryenneh to leave his home for church work on the fateful day, failed to assist the family in locating him after his disappearance,” TUDA further said, adding that the wife of the deceased, who is also Pastor Willie’s sister, has stated that he had baffled all pressure to pursue the whereabouts of her husband when she asked him to do so on the first night after his disappearance.

“The LNP’s surreptitious removal of Mr. Duaryenneh’s body from the local motel without contacting the family is alarming and warrants interrogation,” asserts the Monrovia-based Tarjuowon group. “Also, the hotel’s acquiescence in the removal of the body without notifying the family and their inability to account for Mr. Duaryenneh’s telephone is suspicious and requires explanation.”

TUDA is urging the government to take swift action to unravel the circumstances surrounding Mr. Duaryenneh’s death and bring the concerned LNP officers, Motel Management, and Rev. Janson Wallace to justice.

TUDA vows to remain engaged with the relevant authorities and the family until clarity and justice are brought to bear on this mysterious death.

“We will ensure that the memory of Mr. Duaryenneh is honored through a thorough investigation and accountability for those responsible,” the citizen group stressed. “In this difficult time, TUDA extends its heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. May Mr. Duaryenneh’s memory live on, and may justice be served.”
