Musa Bility Donates Minibus To Nimba Team -Fulfills Promise to County For Winning National County Meet

One of Nimba County County’s eminent sons, Musa Hasan Bility, has redeemed his promise to the Nimba County Football Squad by providing US$15,000 for the purchase of a mini-bus for use by the county team.

Ahead of the grand final of the 2021/2022 National County Meet, in which Nimba County was a candidate, Mr. Bility had vowed to provide a minibus if the county’s team won the trophy, in addition to other contributions made to support the team.

Nimba County on Sunday, January 16, 2022, defeated Gbarpolu County 2 goals to one, thus clawing away the prestigious title.

Besides the intent of the national county sports which includes forging national unity, togetherness and identifying talents in various sports from the various counties, the tournament also comes with much excitement, support and commitment shown by citizens towards the participation.

On Monday, January 17, 2022, a day after the final was played, Mr. Bility who is a renowned business magnate and prominent son of Nimba County, made good his promise to the county’s football team with a presentation of USD15k for a purchase of a minibus for the use of the county’s team to ease its problem with mobility.

Mr. Bility, according to some Nimba sources, is one prominent citizen of the county known very well for embarking upon impactful projects in the county. He often uses his Bililty Development Foundation to respond to the social and economic needs of citizens and groups.

He made the presentation of the US$15,000 when the Nimba County team, led by the Superintendent and members of the County Sports Association, had gone to present the giant sized and much-coveted trophy won over Gbarpolu County at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Stadium in Paynesville on Sunday, January 16, 2022.

Mr. Bility, the first prominent citizen of Nimba County to have been visited by the team after its historic feat, had earlier donated USD1,000 as his initial contribution during preparatory dates to the grand final.

He used the occasion to make good the promise of the minibus if the team emerged victorious against Gbarpolu.

While presenting the trophy to Mr. Biiity, the team leader said that they were excited to emerge winners of the tournament, a promise he said the team had made to   citizens of Nimba including Mr. Bility when he challenged the team to bring the trophy home.

“Sir, while it is true we came prepared from Nimba to take the trophy back home, let us acknowledge with enormous appreciation that your encouragement, contribution and the challenge you threw at us really inspired us to go all out to make sure that we deliver it to the people of Nimba County,” the team leader said.

Responding to the members of the team who were in consistent smiles throughout the short ceremony, Mr. Bility praised the team for the job well done by delivering on the vow to present the cup to him and the good people of Nimba county after a herculean task.

He said his promise to them was not to show that he is a rich man but to demonstrate that no matter how little he has, he will always identify with his county of nativity just like how he has done in other sectors to bring happiness to his people back home.

He said the minibus will go a long way in solving most of the mobility problems the team has encountered during the period of its participation during the competition.

Meanwhile, sources have hinted The Analyst from the camp of the team, stating that it has been meeting other prominent sons and daughters of Nimba County in Monrovia and will be leaving for the county where elaborate preparations are underway to welcome the team back home after a successful outing in Monrovia.
