LNBA Holds Induction Program Friday

The Liberian National Bar Association(LNBA) will this Friday, January 28, 2022, hold its induction ceremony to induct into offices, the recently elected national officers at its National convention held in Ganta, Nimba County which include the President –elect, Vice President elect, Secretary General – elect and Treasurer –elect and the executive council members- elect. The program will take place at the Ministerial Complex, Congo Town, at 2 PM

According to the a press statement issued by the Secretariat, the Inaugural Steering Committee has extended invitations to high profile government officials including President George Manneh Weah, Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor, House Speaker Bhofal Chambers, Pro Temp Albert Chie, Chief Justice francis S. Korkpor and Associate Justices of the Diplomatic Corps, and the Doyen and members of the Diplomatic Corps. Others invited are the United Nations Group, International Organizations, National Professional Organizations (PUL, LMDA, etc.) Private Corporate Executives, Circuit Judges, Judge of Specialized Courts, Magistrates, Counselors and Attorneys-at-Law

Those to be inducted in offices according to the release are Cllr. Sylvester D. Rennie, National President, Cllr. Jamal C. Dehtho, Jr. National Vice President, Cllr. Bonor M. Varmah, National Secretary General  and Cllr. B. Rachel Yabah Duobah, National Treasurer and ten other executive council members.

The release further stated that the Head of Delegation of the European Union to Liberia, Mr. Laurent DelaHousse will serve as the Guest Speaker while US Ambassador Micheal McCarthy is expected to serve as Induction Officer.
