Lion Club Governor Visits Liberia -Vows To Earmark Several Projects for Liberia

The newly elected District Governor for Zones 341 and 342 region 34 of the Lion Club, Madam Elisabeth Attrobra has paid a courtesy call on the government of Liberia through the Ministry of Information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism (MICAT), saying she sees Liberia as her administration’s key priority.

Madam Attrobra who paid the courtesy visit to MICAT over the weekend also finds it necessary to visit the Ministry in order to inform the public about her mission to Liberia.

The new district governor of the Lion Club highlighted several opportunities that Liberia stands to benefit in her administration.

Amongst them, Madam Attroba identified the health sector, in where she said her key focus will be on diabetes, sight (eyes) treatment and Child maternity amongst others.

Lion Governor Attroba also added that she will help in the fight against and Reformation of drugs addicts across the country.

Madam Attrobra also identified the Solid waste management sector of the Country and more, and disclosed the designation of several Liberians to take charge of the projects enumerated.

Madam Attrobra, an Ivorian national, further named Asatu Bah Kanneh to head the fight against drug peddling addiction and the reformation of drugs addicts, amongst others, saying the projects named will be targeted from now to 2022. She also pleased with the ministry of information in order to publicize the projects.

Also making remarks on behalf of Information Minister Ledgerhood Rennie, Deputy Minister for Press and Public Affairs, Jarlewah A. Tonpo Has applauded Madam Attrobra for the courtesy visit to Liberia and her plan to help in the development of the country.

Deputy Minister Tonpo assured the Region 34 District Governor that the Ministry will make sure that the general public is inform of her activities.
