July 17 Protest Organizers Name Global Fundraising Committee -Say Outreach, Logistics Key for Event’s Success
MONROVIA – As preparations intensify for the July 17 “WE THE PEOPLE – Enough is Enough” nationwide protest, organizers have launched a dedicated fundraising team named “We The People Action Fund”.
This GoFundMe-driven committee comprises trusted, patriotic Liberians from the U.S., Europe, Australia, Canada, and Liberia.
‘The Action Fund Committee’ will mobilize resources to support outreach, logistics, and protest materials including T-shirts and paraphernalia.
The committee is chaired by Mrs. Palleh Wreh-Toe (USA), with Ms. Sando Pensor (France) serving as Secretary.
Other members of the committee are Tamba Korkor (Canada), Decontee Bryant (Netherlands), Maima Yates Volt (Switzerland), Hassan Kenneh (Germany), Suzan Gbangaye (Australia), Beverly Harris (USA), Floyd P. George (USA), Daisy Kamara (USA), Barlett Robert (USA), Marvin Barshall (USA), Isaac Yeahon (USA), and Alex Gray (USA).
Others include Princess Moore (USA), Aletha Gbah (USA), Feta Tracy Cooper (USA), Enid Jah (USA), Stephen George Toteh (Liberia), Berrita Bache (USA), Comfort Mamie Taye (USA), David Parker (USA), Amb. Cyrus Momo Sambolai (USA), and Morris T. Mend (USA).
Still members of the committee are Cynthia Lassana (Liberia), David Dwapu (USA), Mohammed Sonii (Liberia), Jonathan Yaba (Liberia), Prince Sheriff (USA), Edwin K. Sackor (Liberia) and Caroline Collins (Liberia).
The committee, set to formally launch its GoFundMe campaign soon, calls on all Liberians and supporters of democracy to give generously in support of this historic cause.
