Kaidol Children Foundation, a local non-for profit organization has issued a press statement over the weekend demanding that justice be served and that a speedy inquiry be launched into an allegation of rape involving a 17-year-old teenager who is accused of raping a 3-year-old girl in the Soul Clinic Community.
The release said the news of a 17-year-old male who reportedly raped and sexually assaulted a 3-year-old girl at the Soul Clinic Community horrified the institution. It said following the victim’s laceration, the medical report said that the victim had been lacerated six inches above her private part, and that the cut continued towards her anus.
“We want to express our firm opposition to this heinous and terrible act by sending a strong message. We are urging the government to undertake an inquiry into the occurrence as soon as possible and to deliver justice to the victim. We are urging President Weah to put up strong measures to reduce the threat to the country”, the release concluded.
