MONROVIA – TATA Regional Manager for West Africa, Mr. Vivek Saraswat and Senior Technician Sayyed Sayyed Monhiyoddin, arrived in Liberia last week on a working visit with the Alliance Motor Corporation (AMC) in Monrovia.
Their coming to Liberia is a routine working visit by TATA to do market analysis, meet with concessionaires, government ministries and agencies, and the diplomatic missions, aimed at assessing the market needs and improving the services of TATA vehicles.
At the Alliance Motor Corporation, the TATA Technician Mr. Monhiyoddin is currently conducting a week-long training of AMC mechanics aimed at upgrading efficiency in service, repair works, and maintenance of TATA vehicles in Liberia.
Alliance Motor Corporation Chief Executive Officer, Mr. George E. Haddad spoke highly of the accrued benefits of the visit by the two senior officials of TATA.
TATA has maintained a long-standing business relationship with the Alliance Motor Corporation, established by the Haddad family in Liberia, since 1983.
TATA officials expressed great prospects for TATA vehicles, alluding to its strength and durability to withstand and maneuver the tough road conditions in Africa.
AMC Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Haddad, said the training of its Mechanics will improve efficiency in service and maintenance, while assuring the ready supply and availability of spare parts for TATA vehicles plying the streets and highways in Liberia.
