Robert Kpadeh Achieves Yet Another Academic Milestone: Awarded at the Esteemed York University Law School, United Kingdom
Robert Kpadeh as he is affectionately called by nearly the entire country is no doubt one of Liberia’s best and brightest citizens. He is a sage, a scholar extraordinaire, and a revered African academic of class. The British-educated Peace and international governance expert as well as International Human Rights and International Criminal Lawyer is certainly a Bookworm who has raised his country’s flag high in many respects. For the last fifteen years, Moncio Kpadeh has dedicated his life to scholarship–lecturing at the state university (UL) and a slew of private universities in Liberia.
The venerated Liberian author and revolutionary poet is a lecturer of Political Science, International Relations, and Public Policy.
At York:
Kpadeh was granted admission to the York Law School 2022 after a thorough examination of his IQ and acumen demonstrated in his brilliant analytics of several scenario tests conducted by the prestigious York Law School. He was admitted to the program of International Human Rights Law (IHRL) and began his program atum of 2022. At York Law School fiercely competed with students who were already lawyers before their LLM program and dominated them in most of the courses. In Moot court, he wrote some of the best legal briefs and led arguments as the lead counsel for his team…and most of the cases. Professor Dr. Mattia who supervised the moot program described Kpadeh as an erudite and convincing defense counsel who has the charm and prowess to mesmerize any judge he stands before.
Kpadeh was among the top five in the main modules of his program on International human rights law, International criminal law, and International Humanitarian Law.
He graduated with Higher Merits (Hons) with just two points to distinction. At York, Kpadeh was assigned to a major U.N. placement supervised by the U.N. Rapporteur for International Human Rights, Dr. Tomoya Obokata. He led five International Human Rights Law students in the charge to assist the Rapporteur in investigating and deriving a solution to: “The Use of Technology in Facilitating and Preventing Contemporary Forms of Slavery or Human Trafficking. It was three months of deep and solid research to find the facts and weave a befitting report that will inform the Rapporteur’s final report to the U.N. General Assembly. With hard work and discipline to duty, Kpadeh and his team drafted a brilliant report which assisted the final report of the rapporteur. Their work lays out the roadmap for the U.N. to effectively tackle Human trafficking which has become pervasive in recent years with millions of people plunged into servitude by wicked men. Kpadeh and his work can be seen on the U.N. Human Rights website for easy reference and corporation. The paper proudly obtained the mark of distinction and the U.N. Secretary-General has since commended Kpadeh and his colleagues for their magnificent piece of work that essentially seeks to protect humanity and he added, that their work shall have a place in history. This is not only a massive fest for Kpadeh but a pride for his country Liberia, something every Liberia must celebrate. As he proudly exits the prestigious walls of the wall class at York Law School, we join all and sundry in congratulating him on yet another legendary accomplishment in academia. We cannot thank enough our leader, teacher, mentor, and father Moncio Robert Kpadeh, the erudite International Human Rights Lawyer for inspiring us in no small way and trailblazing his generation with his striking erudition and unmatched talents.
