Police and Pathologists  Update of Charloe Musu’s Murder Postponed

MONROVIA – The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Liberia announces the postponement of the appearance of the Liberia National Police along with pathologists at the Thursday, April 20, 2023 Press Conference of the Ministry of Information, to a later date.

A Justice Ministry communication trending in the media said the appearance of the LNP at the media briefing along with the pathologists was intended to provide an update on the ongoing investigation into the death of minor Charloe Musu, according to the Director of Press & Public Affairs of the Ministry of Justice. 

The Ministry says the media and the general public will be informed of a new date when the police along with the pathologists will be appearing at the weekly press briefing of the Ministry of Information Culture Affairs and Tourism to update the media and the people of Liberia on the Charloe Musu’s case.

Speculations trending about the case generated much interest, thereby indicating public anxiety and attention to the postponed appearance of the police and the pathologists at the   MICAT briefings.  

The late Charloe Musu, a graduating senior of the Starz University College, was reportedly murdered on 22 February 2023 when the Virginia residence of former Chief Justice Gloria Musu Scott, was attacked by an unknown assassin.
