A new tourist Non-Governmental organization in the country known as the “Pepper Adventure” has established in the country.
Speaking in an interview with Reporters in Monrovia on Wednesday , Pepper Adventure Country Representative in Liberia Mr. Ambrose N. Wiagbe said his organization will provides assistance, information on cultural, historical and contemporary heritage to people on organized sightseeing and individual clients at educational establishments, religious and historical sites such as; museums, and at various venues of tourist in Liberia.
He noted that Pepper Adventure is in the position to point out the way and leads others on a trip or tour. Generally, a tourist guide and will l work at a specific location, city or province. In some cases, guides qualify to guide throughout an entire country.
According to him, Liberia is a country in West Africa, bordering Sierra Leone, Guinea and Côte d’Ivoire. On the Atlantic coast, the capital city of Monrovia is home to the Liberia National Museum, with its exhibits on national culture and history. Around Monrovia are palm-lined beaches like Silver and CeCe. Along the coast, beach towns include the port of Buchanan, as well as laid-back Robert sport.
Mr. Wiagbe indicated that Tourism forms a small part of the national economy of Liberia adding that in the past, many tourists visited Liberia, mostly from the United States.
Speaking further the Pepper Adventure Country Representative in Liberia noted that Liberia’s economy, including the tourist industry, was badly damaged by civil war in the country, and has only just started picking up with the launching of a Tourism Association in the country.
“Traveling to Liberia under the auspices of Pepper Adventure agives one a unique opportunity to experience the adventures of one of Africa’s last tropical rainforests. Pepper adventures trips are for those who are curious enjoy challenges and like to experience new cultures and ways of life” He said.
