Liberia’s NLA 5/90 Lotto Game Set to Launch November 13 -Offers Multiple Prize Tiers, Opportunities to Winners

MONROIA – Blue Star Hi-Tech Liberia Limited, a prominent lottery operator, has been contracted by the Government of Liberia through the National Lottery Authority (NLA) to manage and operate the National 5/90 Ball Lotto Game.
This strategic partnership aims to enhance national revenue generation, create employment opportunities, and promote a transparent and well-regulated lottery industry in Liberia, according to a release.
The Agreement
The exclusive right to operate the 5/90 Lotto Game was granted to Blue Star Hi-Tech Liberia Limited by the NLA on February 20, 2025. According to the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Clement Adu Sarpong, the project is expected to employ more than 1,500 Liberians across the country, contributing to the government’s efforts to address unemployment through various policies, including the ARREST agenda.
Job Creation and Economic Impact
As part of its rollout plan, the recruitment of Point of Sale (POS) agents has commenced in Montserrado, Margibi, Bong, and Nimba Counties, with over 900 applicants.
Training for selected agents is scheduled to begin on November 10, 2025. This initiative is expected to provide job opportunities for Liberia’s youth and generate additional revenue for the country, the release said.
Game Details
The NLA 5/90 Lotto is one of Africa’s most popular lottery games, where players select five numbers from a pool ranging from 1 to 90.
The game offers multiple prize tiers and several opportunities to win. Draws are held daily from Monday to Saturday, with two draws: Gold Draw at 2:00 PM and Diamond Draw at 8:30 PM.
How to Play
To participate, visit any POS agent in your community, pay a minimum of L$50, and select any number from 1 to 90. You will receive a printed ticket, which is required to claim your prize. Winners can collect their cash through POS agents via Mobile Money (MoMo) or Orange Money, or by visiting the head office located on 18th Street, 4th Floor, AMIR Building, Monrovia.
Official Launch
The official launch of the NLA 5/90 Lotto is scheduled for Thursday, November 13, 2025, beginning with an indoor program, followed by an outdoor jamboree. The public can watch or listen to the live draws at 2:00 PM and 8:30 PM daily at the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS) compound in Paynesville.
