First Lady Grateful -Congratulates Her Birthday Celebration’s Well-Wishers

Liberia’s First Lady, Her Excellency Clar Marie Weah, has been acknowledging with immense gratitude countless Liberians and non-Liberians who identified with her as she celebrated on birthday anniversary this year, 2021.

The Liberian First Lady celebrated her birthday, March 11, making several rounds in and around Monrovia distributing gifts and critical social service project materials to schools, clinics and old folks’ homes.

This year’s clamor by Liberians and non-Liberians to pour out good tidings on Mrs. Weah surpassed previous years of her husband’s tenure as President. Many attribute this to the incredible humanitarian outreach of the First Lady in recent time, something that benefits a cross section of Liberians, mainly disadvantaged people.

In a social media post, which also has gone viral, the Mother of the Nation, Clar Marie Weah wrote: “I wish to extend heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who offered warm greetings, felicitations and best wishes to me yesterday, March 11, 2021 as I celebrated yet another birth anniversary.”

She also seized this opportunity to thank everyone who celebrated with her in their various unique ways.

She noted further: “I remain grateful for the kind words and supplications you continue to bid our family. I am also thankful and grateful to all those who brought gifts. I assure you that all gifts received will be given to the needy through the Clar Hope Foundation.”

The First Lady’s post also declared: “I opted to use the occasion to give back to the needy and less fortunate in society in keeping with my own values and beliefs. Many thanks to my family, team and well-meaning individuals for the support in putting smiles on the faces of the mothers and children in Grand Bassa County and at the John F. KENNEDY Memorial Hospital in Monrovia.”

She also conveyed her “love and feelings of gratitude to my husband, H.E. President George Manneh Weah, for being a dedicated companion and support upon which I have come to rely”.

Concluding, Madam Weah said, “May the good Lord continue to grant all of us many more blessed years.”
