MONROVIA – The Citizens Movement for Change (CMC) proudly announces the appointment of Madam Victoria Sandolo-Zulu as the new Chairperson for the CMC Diaspora, USA and Canada.
Affectionately known as Vicky, Madam Sandolo-Zulu was born to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sendolo Sr. in Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County, Liberia, and hails from Nimba County. She began her primary education in Senequille and graduated from St. Jean’s Liberian Catholic School in Ivory Coast in 2002.
In 2005, she immigrated to the United States of America, where she has made remarkable progress both academically and professionally. She earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Business Administration in 2009 and later obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Electives with a focus on Special Education in 2022. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Special Education, which she is on track to complete in less than two semesters.
Madam Sandolo-Zulu also holds a Level 1 Academy Behavior Specialist Certification and is a Tier 1 Licensed Teacher. Her passion for education is matched by an outstanding record of leadership and community service. She has served as Mother of the Year for Hope Tabernacle Church for two years, Secretary General for Nimba Citizens for Progress for four years, Vice President of the United Nimba Citizens Council (UNICCO) for three and a half years, and President for two years — a position to which she has just been re-elected for a second term.
Throughout her leadership journey, Madam Sandolo-Zulu has earned a reputation for integrity, inclusiveness, and transformative leadership. She is known for her ability to bring people together, resolve differences through dialogue, and inspire others to serve their communities. Under her leadership, several community initiatives thrived — including women’s empowerment programs, youth mentorship, and education support drives for underprivileged Liberian children at home and abroad.
Her appointment to lead CMC USA and Canada brings to the movement a proven community mobilizer, a skilled organizer, and a visionary leader who understands the value of unity and collaboration. She is expected to strengthen CMC’s engagement with Liberians across the diaspora, foster stronger ties with communities, and expand programs that promote education, equality, and development.
Victoria is a strong advocate for inclusion, equality, and cross-functional collaboration. She believes that unity and mutual understanding among diverse groups are essential for building a stronger, more supportive society.
A proud wife and mother, she has been married for 15 years and is blessed with three beautiful daughters.
Her appointment is yet another testament to CMC’s commitment to women’s empowerment, leadership excellence, and the promotion of capable, people-centered leaders who embody compassion, competence, and community spirit.
Congratulations to Madam Victoria Sandolo-Zulu on her well-deserved appointment as Chairperson of CMC Diaspora, USA and Canada.
