In keeping with the Great Commission of Jesus Christ, a renowned Minister of the gospel based in the United States of America (USA), Rev. Peter Mugweh will be a guest of the First Church of Love and Faith (FCLF) during a weeklong great gospel campaigns and conference which is expected to rally the attendance of over 1500 delegates in the City of Monrovia.
The convention, which will run from 24th February – 3rd March 2019, is expected to bring together delegates from both First Church of Love and Faith and other denominations across Liberia as the FCLF holds its 19th Annual Conference under the Theme: “There is success in Unity,” with text drawn from Exodus 17:8-13.
According to a press release issued by the First Church of Love and Faith in Monrovia on February 20, 2019 and signed by Rtd. Bishop E. Teah Klay and approved by the Church Acting Administrator Rev. William K. Davies, the US-based prelate will deliver the opening and closing sermons of the 19th Annual Convention of FCLF, conduct teaching of the Holy Scripture and participate in other gospel activities during the week-long convention.
The First Church of Love and Faith which has over 15 churches in Liberia will host this year’s Annual Convention at its New Kru Town Branch on the Bushrod Island in Monrovia. The convention will also witness the ordination and elevation of some pastors, minsters as well as the baptism of some members in the FCLF circle.
The release further states that the First Church of Love and Faith leadership will take its international guests, Rev. Peter Mugweh, who is the overseer of several branch churches which headquartered in the United States of America, along with other national pastors on a guided tour of several facilities belonging to the FCLF church in and around Monrovia.
The release noted that the purpose of the tour is to help provide all hands-on desk information on the levels of developmental programs and planned projects the church is undertaking in making contributions to national development.
The FCLF’s release concluded by calling on the Liberian Christian Community and other people of different beliefs to form part of the FCLF Annual National Convention which is expected to be characterized by spiritual cleansing of events in Liberia.
