Rep. Bility, U.S. Senator Coons Hold Strategic Talks in Washington

MONROVIA – Honorable Musa Hassan Bility, Political Leader of the Citizens Movement for Change (CMC) of Liberia, held a high-level meeting with United States Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) during his ongoing visit to the United States of America. The meeting, held in Washington, D.C., focused on issues of democratic governance, regional stability, youth empowerment, and strengthening the longstanding bilateral relationship between Liberia and the United States.

During the engagement, Hon. Bility shared his vision for a more inclusive, accountable, and prosperous Liberia, emphasizing the need for stronger institutions, economic opportunities for young people, and renewed international partnerships to support national development.

Senator Coons, a longstanding friend of Liberia and advocate for democratic values in Africa, welcomed the discussions and reaffirmed the importance of continued cooperation between both countries in advancing peace, democracy, and sustainable development.
