12 Graders WASSCE Exam schedules for Wednesday April 24, 2019 Nation-wide

In an effort to effectively professionalize and improve the education system, the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the West Africa Examinations Head Office (WAEC) in Liberia has released the schedule for the upcoming Examinations for the acknowledgment of all Education Stakeholders for the smooth and peaceful administration through the following exams: WASSCE – April 24 – May 20, 2019 for all 12th Graders nationwide; WAEC – May 22, 2019 for selected 6th Graders as a pilot program for Mathematics & English and WAEC – May 23 – 24, 2019 for all 9th Graders nationwide.
The Ministry of Education, according to a release signed by its Director of Communications & Public Relations, J. Maxime Bleetahn, informs all 12th Graders that the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) will be administered on Wednesday commencing April 24 through May 20, 2019, beginning 8:00 AM prompt. All students are cautioned to assemble at their various WASSCE Centers in their Uniforms with their school Identification cards for proper identification and easier recognition at least one hour prior to the Exam’s time.
The Ministry of Education therefore reiterates that the promised benefits of foreign scholarships to the top 10 (ten) high performing students on the WASSC Examination remains applicable. The best top 10 (ten) students for the upcoming WASSC Examination will be offered foreign scholarships to pursue further studies.
Meanwhile, precisely 39,849 students are legible to sit this year’s WASSCE Examination from 651 schools at 237 centers across the country, 43,409 students are scheduled for the 9th grade WAEC Exam while 20, 507 students are qualified to sit the piloted 6th grade WAEC Exam.
